Welcome! I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Acadia University. My fields of specialization include health and labour economics, with an emphasis on applied econometrics. The objective of my work has been to improve upon the human condition by focusing on economic vulnerability, especially among marginalized communities.

Outside of academia, I am an avid snowboarder and downhill mountain biker; however, my health insurer is well-aware that I maintain a high degree of risk aversion, with a preference for certainty equivalent pistes.
